What is Myblog?

The myblog blogging service allows UAL students and staff to quickly and easily create blogs within an online learning and teaching community specially created for the University of the Arts London.

Students can use it to quickly and easily set up a personalised online journal. It’s also possible to set up group blogs, to allow for collaborative discussion and documentation of processes and projects. The blogs are open to the web by default but can be made more private to provide a safe-space for students to get to grips with reflection and writing online.

Why use Myblog

There are two main uses of Myblog:

  1. Course teams use Myblog to support students in expressing thinking openly and in developing an online identity. Blogs can be a helpful way of supporting open discourse and a culture of sharing and building ideas.
  2. Individuals can set-up their own blog to document their thinking and promote their work and ideas.
